Dr. Bogarin has been a prominent optometric physician serving the greater Miami area for over 25 years. As the founder of her practice within the Walmart Health & Wellness division in Doral, Florida, she is widely recognized for her excellence in compassionate patient care.
Dr. Bogarin earned her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University in 1996, following a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Though she began her academic journey as an Economics and Accounting major, she soon discovered her true calling in optometry.
A specialist in contact lenses, Dr. Bogarin has extensive expertise in treating presbyopia, high toricity, high myopia, and gas-permeable fittings and emergency eyecare. She is National and Florida Board Certified and is fully licensed to prescribe therapeutic medications.
Born and raised in California and of Mexican American descent, Dr. Bogarin views her Catholic faith as the pillar of her life and the light that guides her as a physician. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys gardening, reading, and taking road trips with her son, Gabriel. While she is a dedicated healthcare provider, in an ideal world, she would spend her days as a world traveler.
